If you have, Courtyard Solicitors may be able to help.
The Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependents) Act 1975 allows family members and dependents of a deceased person to make a claim if they consider that they should have been left money by the deceased but have not been, or that the provision for them in the deceased's will is not adequate.
Courtyard Solicitors can act for the executors or administrators in defending such claims or alternatively for family and dependent wishing to make a claim. A claim under the Act must be made within 6 months of the date of the grant of probate or letters of administration although the Court does have the power to extend this time limit in certain circumstances.
